Woolworths is seeking a qualified Personal Assistant to support the Trading Heads overseeing Central Buying, Engen, and Africa operations. The role requires delivering professional and efficient administrative assistance, including managing schedules, coordinating travel, preparing documents, and handling communications. The candidate should be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of providing seamless support in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced administrative support, including managing schedules and arranging travel
  • Coordinate events for central teams and handle office tasks
  • Prepare presentations and manage documentation
  • Oversee diary schedules, process accounts, and manage petty cash
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items
  • Track expenses, manage budgets, and handle reimbursement processes
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to build professional relationships
  • Operate and troubleshoot office equipment and software
  • Provide general administrative support to other team members or departments as needed

Qualifications

  • 3-year Secretarial diploma or relevant tertiary qualification
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Outlook
  • Strong administrative and secretarial skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and make informed decisions
  • Experience in financial processes and budgeting
